Herring Salad

Ingredients:
1 large beetroot 1 carrot 1 large potato 250 grams of herring 1 onion 3 eggs Mayonnaise
Instructions:
Step 1 Boil the beetroot, carrot, and potato (Rinse them in water without peeling, then cook in a pot of cold water for about 20 minutes until tender). Step 2 Boil the eggs. Step 3 Peel the cooked vegetables. Grate the potato, carrot, beetroot, and eggs using a coarse grater. Step 4 Finely chop the onion. Step 5 Cut the herring into small pieces, removing any bones. Step 6 On a plate, layer the herring, followed by the onion, potato, egg, carrot, and beetroot. Spread mayonnaise over each layer. Step 7 Coat the top layer of beetroot with mayonnaise and optionally garnish with grated egg.
